Materials & Finish
The LCW Lounge Chair combines molded plywood elements with natural cowhide upholstery. The seat and backrest are pressed from multiple layers of veneer, finished in stained ash with a protective lacquer. Upholstery in genuine cowhide provides unique texture, natural variation, and durability, making each chair a one-of-a-kind piece.
The LCW offers ergonomic seating through its contoured plywood shell and flexible mounting system, reducing pressure points. Cowhide upholstery adds tactile warmth and comfort while emphasizing the chair’s natural material expression. Compact and lightweight, the chair integrates seamlessly into both residential and office interiors as a sculptural yet functional seating option.
Comfort & Functionality
The chair is built from five molded plywood elements, precision-formed to create organic curves that follow the human body. Rubber shock mounts connect the backrest and seat to the frame, allowing subtle flexibility and movement. The cowhide is hand-selected and applied with reinforced stitching to the molded forms. The layered plywood construction ensures structural stability while remaining lightweight.
