Materials & Finish
Crafted from chromed tubular steel and clear tempered glass, the E1027 combines transparency with mechanical precision. The steel frame is hand-polished to a mirror finish for durability and visual purity. Every joint and curve reflects Eileen Gray’s commitment to material honesty, technical accuracy, and refined industrial craftsmanship characteristic of Bauhaus modernism.
The side table’s height-adjustable design enables use beside a bed, sofa, or armchair. Its lightweight frame allows easy mobility, while the glass top offers a hygienic, easy-to-clean surface. The functional adjustability and visual clarity provide both comfort and efficiency, making it a timeless companion in flexible modern interiors.
Comfort & Functionality
The E1027 side table features a height-adjustable cantilever structure, engineered from tubular steel with a continuous loop forming both the frame and support. Its geometric clarity and functional mechanism allow effortless adjustment of height, while the circular tabletop rests securely within a precision-fitted ring for structural stability and balance.

Eileen Gray
Eileen Gray (1878–1976) was an Irish-born designer and architect, celebrated as a pioneer of modernism. Trained in painting at the Slade School in London, she later mastered lacquer work and furniture design in Paris. Her designs, such as the Bibendum Chair and the E-1027 adjustable table, showcased her innovative blend of elegance, comfort, and functionality. In architecture, her iconic seaside villa E-1027 reflected modernist ideals of open space and integration with nature. Long overlooked, Gray’s work was rediscovered in the late 20th century, affirming her lasting influence as one of the foremost women in modern design and architecture.
