Materials & Finish
The Corona Chair features a polished chrome or stainless steel frame, resistant to corrosion and wear. The four elliptical seat and back sections are upholstered in premium aniline leather, hand-stitched and padded with high-density foam. The combination of sculptural steel and luxurious leather emphasizes Volther’s focus on organic form and material honesty.
The distinctive segmented design supports the body ergonomically from shoulders to thighs, distributing weight evenly. The foam and leather upholstery provide firm yet comfortable seating, ideal for extended use. The chair’s 360° swivel base enhances movement, while its sculptural silhouette makes it a centerpiece in both residential and commercial interiors. The Corona Chair combines functionality, comfort, and expressive Danish modern design.
Comfort & Functionality
The chair’s structure consists of a central steel column supporting four curved, foam-padded shells. Each shell is individually molded and fixed to the spine with precision steel fittings, allowing flexibility and strength. The swivel base is crafted from polished steel with seamless joints, ensuring stability and a refined finish. Reinforced leather seams guarantee long-term durability and aesthetic consistency.
