terms and condition 

1 Area of Application 

1.1 Bauhausshop.com is an online shop managed by new, bauhaushop by BS ICONIC DESIGN Ltd UK

1.2 The furniture items presented on Bauhausshop.com website constitute a non-binding invitation to the customer to place an order from the online-catalogue. By sending your order through the shopping cart, you are not automatically entering into a contract. After processing your request, we will send you a confirmation. If you want to pick up the ordered furniture by yourself, you need to put a remark on your order form. Otherwise your address will be automatically sent to a forwarding company that will (after you confirm the price) deliver your order.

2 Delivery 

2.1 Delivery/courier company will arrange a delivery of goods to the address indicated in your order. You will be contacted a couple of days before and informed about the delivery time at your convenience.

2.2 The customer must inform us in writing case he/she is on holiday or permanently not at home in the coming weeks. If no one is at the address when delivery is attempted or if the shipment cannot be delivered due to incorrect shipping address, the goods will be returned to Bauhausshop.

2.3 When we receive undeliverable shipments, we will notify customers via email to arrange for reshipment. All reshipments incur reshipment fees that are the same as Bauhausshop’s regular shipping fees.

2.4 Smaller shipments will be delivered by courier services. If the courier driver has attempted to deliver your parcel three times without being successful, the parcel will be sent back to Bauhausshop. For each unsuccessful delivery attempt, you will receive a notification card. 

2.5 For a delivery to countries outside the European Union, custom charges apply. We cannot ship outside Europe. For more information contact service@bauhausshop.com.

3 Payment 

3.1 All the prices include the UK VAT. The company new, bauhaushop by BS ICONIC DESIGN Ltd UK is not registered for VAT, therefore no invoice can issued without the VAT.

3.2 For deliveries to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, payment of the total price including VAT, delivery charges and applicable custom fees can be made cash on delivery

3.3 For deliveries to other European countries, payment of the total price including VAT, delivery charges and applicable custom fees must be made in full before order is placed to the producer. The total amount has to be transferred to the bank account of the delivery company which is authorized to deliver the goods on behalf of new, bauhaushop by BS ICONIC DESIGN UK.

3.4 All transactions are made in EUR.

3.5 The product is property of new, bauhaushop by BS ICONIC DESIGN Ltd UK until the entire price is paid.

4 Return policy 

4.1 You can return the goods within 14 calendar days from the date you received them. Within this timeframe, you can withdraw from your order for any reason. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify our Bauhausshop team by e-mail that you would like to return the goods. For orders with special colours by request the refund will be reduced up to 30%. After the timeframe of 14 days has expired, the goods are no more eligible for return. 

4.2 Having received your notification of withdrawal, we assign a delivery company to organise collection. The goods cannot be returned to the address of new, bauhaushop by BS ICONIC DESIGN Ltd UK. At the warehouse, the returned goods are thoroughly inspected.

4.3 The returned goods must be unused and in the original packaging including the cardboard box, the foil, and all the covers in the carton, or they are not eligible for a free return.

4.4 If the item has already been repaired or replaced due to a fabrication defect or a fault of the material, it cannot be returned.

4.5 If the returned goods are in good condition, the customer will receive a full refund on his/her bank account.

5 Damaged or faulty goods 

5.1 It is customer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the packaging upon delivery. Any damages have to be marked on the delivery note, or the complaint cannot be accepted.

5.2 It is customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods. If the goods are damaged or defective, the customer must notify Bauhausshop by e-mail to service@bauhausshop.com. Photos of the packaging, labels and damaged/defected goods are required in order to process a complaint.

5.3 The customer must keep the original packaging. If he/she fails to do so, the complaint cannot be accepted.

5.4 If the producer decides to accept the complaint, the customer will be notified about this per e-mail. The producer may decide to replace the complete item or only a damaged/defective part.

5.5 After a replacement will be delivered to the customer, we will inform the customer about how to proceed with the damaged/defected goods.

5.6 Bauhausshop reserves the right to repair the goods twice before they are replaced.

6 Privacy Policy 

We treat the information provided by our customers confidentially on legal authority of data protection. We respect your privacy and appreciate your trust in us to handle information carefully and sensibly.

7 Governing Law 

These Terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of UK .
